Woman found dead on her terrace in Chennai, cops search for cousin whom she was last seen with

Chennai: A 37-year-old woman was found dead on the terrace of her house in Ramapuram on Wednesday morning. Police suspect murder and are searching for her cousin, who was last seen talking to her on Tuesday night. The woman, Pushpa, had separated from her husband 10 years ago and lived with her 16-year-old daughter. Pushpa was in a relationship with her cousin Karthi, 40, and on Tuesday night, the daughter saw the two of them talking on the terrace around 11pm before she went to sleep. When the daughter woke up the next morning, she went looking for her on the terrace. She found Pushpa lifeless and called the neighbours and police. Police sent the body to K K Nagar govt hospital for post-mortem. They suspect murder and are searching for Karthi.tnn
