national highway. When they reached Baluchettychatram, a speeding truck swerved and hit two cars, and subsequently their bike. Due to the impact, the constable and her husband were thrown away along with the kid. Umadevi and Dharshan, the child, sustained severe head injuries and died on the spot, while Raja escaped with minor injuries. The truck driver abandoned the vehicle and escaped. A case has been registered.
