Water supply to be affected in four zones in Chennai

CHENNAI: The supply of drinking water to Ambattur, Anna Nagar, Kodambakkam and Teynampet corporation zones will be affected for 48 hours from 6am on Wednesday, as the Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board is set to carry out line linking work to the main pipe in Koyambedu.
The work will be carried out under the Koyambedu roundtana flyover.CMWSSB has instructed residents to store enough water for two days and to register on their website to get water through lorries for emergencies.
It also said the supply through lorries to areas where there is no piped water supply will continue as usual.tnn
