VIT University donates Rs. 1.25 crore for Chennai flood relief

CHENNAI: VIT University has donated Rs. 1.25 crore toward relief measures for Tamil Nadu in the aftermath of the recent floods. Founder and chancellor of the university Vishwanathan who visited the secretariat and donated the amount to the Chief Minister’s Public Relief Fund, said that the fund was raised by donations from management, students and alumni.In addition, our faculty and staff donated their one day salary.
