Union ministry to conduct water vision conference in Mamallapuram

CHENNAI: The National Water Mission of the Union ministry of jal shakti will conduct the “All India Secretaries’ Conference on Water Vision @ 2047 – Way Ahead” in Mamallapuram on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The conference will be held in Welcome Hotel by ITC Group in Mamallapuram from 10.30am to 8pm on both days.

States like Tamil Nadu, Uttarakhand, Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Bihar will present their water vision strategies and implementations of water policies and practices.

Tamil Nadu minister Duraimurugan and water resources department secretary Sandeep Saxena will speak in the conference.
