Two-wheeler rental service to be available at all Chennai Metro Rail stations

CHENNAI: Two-wheeler rental services that are now available at Thirumangalam and airport stations of Chennai Metro Rail will soon be launched at all other stations, a release from CMRL said on Thursday.Two-wheelers like Honda Activa, Hero Splendor, Bajaj Pulsar, Yamaha R15 and KTM Duke 390 are available for rental at Thirumangalam and airport stations. SFA Motorcycle Rentals offers the service.A user can rent a two-wheeler directly and return it at any other station or one of the offices of SFA Motorcycle Rental -- Kodambakkam, OMR and Chengalpattu. Two-wheelers ranging from 70cc to 1000cc are offered.Users will need to carry their original two-wheeler licence and at least one original identity proof issued by the government (of any country). A refundable deposit of Rs 2,000 has to be paid, and the rental has to be paid in advance. The rental starts at Rs 75 per hour.
