Securing the second spot is TVS Jupiter, which registered a strong 28.70% YoY growth, selling 97,606 units in May 2025, up from 75,838 units during the same month last year. Its competitive pricing, starting at Rs 77,291, ex-showroom, and practical features have helped TVS strengthen its position in the scooter market.

Suzuki’s Access range held on to the third spot by selling 75,778 units in May 2025, a 16.92% increase from 64,812 units in May 2024. The Access 125 starts at Rs 83,800, ex-showroom.

At number four is TVS XL, a utility moped that recorded 37,264 units in May 2025, down by 7.75% from 40,394 units in May 2024. Priced from Rs 46,954, ex-showroom, the XL continues to find takers in rural and semi-urban areas where its load-carrying capacity is a major plus.

Breaking into the top five is the TVS iQube, the only electric scooter in this group. With 27,642 units sold in May 2025 versus 17,230 units in May 2024, it posted a remarkable 60.43% growth. The iQube starts at Rs 94,434 lakh, ex-showroom. The model is available with three different battery pack options.
