VILLUPURAM: PMK’s faction led by its founder, S Ramadoss, has officially released the second list of 10 candidates for the upcoming 2026 Tamil Nadu legislative assembly elections. The party released the first list of five candidates on Monday. The party has allied with the All India Puratchi Thalaivar Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam (AIPTMMK) floated by estranged AIADMK functionary V K Sasikala, and the alliance proposes to contest from all 234 constituencies.

The second list of candidates primarily comprises district secretaries and state-level functionaries. The announcement aligns with the party’s strategy to leverage its grassroots strength in the northern and western belts of the state.The party’s state deputy organisational secretary N S Ekambaram will contest from Thiruporur, state deputy vice president M R Balamurugan from Bhuvanagiri, state executive committee member S C R Gopal from Anthiyur and integrated Tiruvallur district organising secretary Na Venkatesan from Tiruvallur.District secretaries S Sridhar (Utthiramerur), S D K Sankar (Gummidipoondi), Kanal Permual (Gingee), A Saravanan (Dharmapuri), Kaduvetti Ravi (Jayankondam) and Ti Ka Seenivasan (Cheyyar) have been offered party tickets to contest from their respective constituencies.
