Pharmacies at metro rail stations

Chennai: The Chennai Metro Rail Limited has partnered with SIMS Hospital to launch pharmacy outlets in each of the 40 metro stations in the city. The first pharmacy was inaugurated at the Vadapalani metro station on Tuesday. The pharmacy will use AI-driven technology for home delivery services, personalized care and automated prescription management. These pharmacies will provide free vital assessment tests by highly trained nursing staff.The hospital will also offer teleconsultation services at the metro rail stations so that commuters can access medical advice on the go. Adding to their convenience, the hospital also launched “doctor on wheels” initiative. Through this, doctors can reach out to patients in need.
