M K Stalin on Friday unveiled the logo of ‘Vairamuthu Ilakkiyam 50’ to mark 50 years of lyricist

The CM unveiled the logo at his camp office in the presence of Vairamuthu and the lyricist’s sons

Kabilan Vairamuthu

The CM took to social media to announce the unveiling of the logo and tweeted, “The lyricist showered us with his poem and songs that have the perfect blend of creativity and science. Let Kaviperarasu (the emperor of poets) rule us with his mastery over the language for over a century.”
Vairamuthu has penned 38 books and 7,500 songs since 1972. The golden jubilee year of Vairamuthu’s literary work would be celebrated throughout the year in several villages, states and countries.
