Madras University launches blended BSc with Melbourne University
CHENNAI: The University of Madras will offer a blended BSc programme in partnership with University of Melbourne from 2022-23.
The programme will be conducted jointly by the physics, chemistry, mathematics and biology departments of the University of Madras.
Students can study four core courses: physics, chemistry, mathematics and biology. The degree will be given by the University of Madras with an equivalence certificate by the Melbourne University.
"This will give our students exposure to a diverse set of research subjects, with additional tools, experiences and faculty support," S Gowri, vice-chancellor of the university said in a release.
The university also plans student, faculty exchange programmes with Melbourne University.
