CHENNAI: A 28-year-old man committed suicide at a paying guest accommodation in Okkiyam-Thoraipakkam here on Monday night.
The deceased has been identified as Mukesh Babu from Madanapallee in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh. He was a B Tech graduate and had been staying at a paying guest accommodation in Pilliyar Koil Street for the last few months to attend job interviews in software companies on the OMR.

Babu was found hanging from the ceiling of his room around 8.30pm. The Kannagi Nagar police retrieved the body and sent it to the Government Royapettah Hospital for postmortem.
His suicide note alleged that he had been harassed by his roommate, Vignesh, and two others, who live in a nearby street. The police detained the trio.
Babu's parents, who reached here on Tuesday morning, told police that he had been stressed as he had borrowed about Rs 5 lakh from relatives.
The police registered a case.
