Jaya on respiratory support, recovering well, say doctors
CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalithaa is on respiratorysupport and is being treated with antibiotics and allied clinical measures for her infection, said a press release issued by Apollo Hospitals on Monday.

The latest bulletin from the hospital said the chief minister continued to improve. "The treatment plan, including appropriate antibiotic, respiratory support and allied clinical measures, are being continued to treat the infection. The chief minister is responding adequately to the comprehensive treatment being given to her. A team of doctors is collectively monitoring her treatment. The chief minister has been advised further stay in the hospital for treatment," it said.
In another statement, the hospital said its doctors and facilities are functional. "Patients can visit us any time," it said.
