ISKCON conducts 15th rath yathra
Chennai: ISKCON Thiruvanmiyur celebrated its 15th annual rath yatra on Saturday. The idols of Sri Krishna Rukmini Satyabhama, Sri Sri Gaura Nitai, and Srila Prabhupada were taken on a decorated chariot through Adyar and Thiruvanmiyur, with performances of traditional Tamil art forms, singing, and chanting. The festival began at 4.30pm, with Justice R M T Teeka Raman, former judge of Madras high court, as chief guest. TNN
