TIRUVANNAMALAI: A five-year-old girl's legs were stuck in a brass vessel in Tiruvannamalai town. A team of fire and rescue services personnel worked for more than an hour to rescue the girl by cutting the vessel without causing her any injury.

Police said Dhanushia, daughter of Siva of Tiruvannamalai town, was playing with a brass vessel at her house on Sunday. She inserted her two legs into the vessel and sat on the vessel's mouth.

After a few minutes, when she wanted to remove her legs from the vessel, she could not do so. She cried for help. Her parents tried to free her from the vessel, but in vain.

They alerted the fire and rescue services personnel. A team of firemen reached her house, cut the vessel and freed her.
