CHNENAI: The 16-year-old girl, who was employed at actor Banupriya's home, and her mother were arrested on Friday on charges of breach of trust and

theft

The actor's brother, Gopalakrishnan, lodged a complaint on Thursday accusing the girl of stealing 10 sovereigns of gold, 1 lakh , an iPad, a camera and two watches. Police recovered 3,000 from the mother-daughter duo. The girl was sent to a government home and Prabhavathi was remanded in judicial custody. In January, Prabhavathi lodged a complaint saying her daughter was harassed and being held captive in Banupriya's home.

First Complaint is from the poor mother. Because of lack of influence I guess, her daughter was held captive. Why they didn't allow the daughter to be allowed with mom. Suddenly theft complaint now, very very fishy. That too gold cash and ipad by servant, seems well planted. Some organisation should help the poor woman and find the truth
