CHENNAI: A 31-year-old man died after falling off the
terrace
of a three-storey
building
at
Kodungaiyur
in Chennai on Sunday night.
The deceased has been identified as R
Iyyappan of Ulundurpet
who was working as an earthmover operator in Chennai. He stayed in
Krishnamurthy Nagar
at Kodungaiyur
On Sunday night, Iyyappan, who shared room with two other friends, went to the terrace of the building under the influence of alcohol. He slipped and fell off the building.
Passersby alerted police. He was rushed to
Government Stanley Hospital
where he was declared “brought dead.”
The Kodungaiyur police have registered a case. Iyyappan is survived by wife
Kalpana and three children who live in Ulundurpet.
