DMK’s A Mani beats Sowmiya Anbumani in Dharmapuri

DHARMAPURI: DMK’s A Mani defeated PMK candidate Sowmiya Anbumani by a margin of 21,300 votes in Dharmapuri Lok Sabha constituency on Tuesday.Mani secured 432,667 votes while Sowmiya received 411,367 votes at the end of the 24th round of counting.Sowmiya, who had been leading till eleventh round, started trailing at the end of the 12th round.PMK is part of the BJP-led NDA. Sowmiya contested the elections on PMK’s mango symbol.
