Cyclone Burevi live updates: IMD issues heavy rain alert for four Kerala districts today

With the low-pressure area over Gulf of Mannar remaining stationary, the associated cyclonic circulation will continue to influence rainfall at isolated places over Kerala. Pathanamthitta, Ernakulam, Idukki and Malappuram have been put on orange alert for heavy rainfall today. Stay with TOI for the latest updates.

The storm is likely to move west-northwestwards and emerge into Gulf of Mannar and adjoining Comorin area on December 3 morning. The storm with wind speed of 70-80kmph gusting to 90kmph would be centred very close to Pamban around noon of December 3.
