Chennai customs conducts khadi exhibition and sale

CHENNAI: Customs chief commissioner MVS Choudhary inaugurated a khadi and co-optex exhibition cum sale at Custom House in Chennai on Monday.
As part of Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav, an event which celebrates 75 years of India's independence, the exhibition will commemorate and ingrain ideals of Mohandas Gandhi, Father of the Nation, which is self-reliance.It will also promote cottage and khadi enterprises.
Chennai customs, by way of conducting an exhibition, promotes and empowers the khadi industry.
The exhibition is being conducted on fifth floor, Club Hall, Custom House, No 60, Rajaji Salai, Chennai-01. It will conclude on Tuesday evening.
