Athivarada Perumal brought out of underground tank at Kancheepuram temple

CHENNAI: After 40 years, Athivarada Perumal was brought out of an underground tank at Varadaraja Perumal temple in Kancheepuram on Monday morning.
People from various parts of Tamil Nadu thronged the temple to have a darshan of the Lord
Devotees will be allowed to have darshan between 5am and 5pm and from 5pm and 8pm. Devotees in Kancheepuram taluk will be allowed on specific days.
Special arrangements have been made by the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments department and police to manage the crowd.
