AMET University
, Chennai, on Tuesday entered into a memorandum of understanding with the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (
ICS
), UK, which will facilitate faculty and student exchange, conduct of lectures and symposiums, exchange of academic information, promotion of collaboration in fields of mutual interests and other academia cooperation.
The MoU was signed by AMET University chairman J Ramachandran and Sean Walsh, deputy director, ICS.
As part of the MoU, which will be in force for five years, ICS will also provide books for AMET’s students at subsisided rates.
Further, ICS curriculum will be aligned with relevant degree courses at AMET.
