MOHALI: Police booked Rajni Devi, 25, along with her parents Raj Kumar and Kiran Bala on Sunday for allegedly abetting her husband's suicide. Vishal Kumar, 25, had committed suicide by hanging inside his Zirakpur residence on May 14.
Rajni is a student of Sirsa-based engineering institute and Vishal was running a computer hardware shop in Sector 22, Chandigarh.

Vishal was a native of Delhi, residing in Zirakpur with his in-laws for the past eight months.
Police said in his complaint to police, Shagun Lal, father of deceased youth, alleged that his son, Vishal, wanted to come back to Delhi, but his wife and in-laws forced him to stay with them.
Shagun Lal also alleged that his son was being mentally tortured by his wife and in-laws, which forced Vishal to take the extreme step.
SHO of police station Zirakpur, inspector Jogi Raj, said a case was registered under section 306 (abetment of suicide) of IPC and arrest would be made after throughout investigation of the matter.
