Woman falls from 3rd floor, dies

Chandigarh: A woman died under mysterious circumstances after she fell from the third floor of the house of her friend in Sector 63. Kajal Rawat, a resident of Sector 43, had been staying with Amandeep Kaur for the last two days. Amandeep said after dinner, Kajal went to the balcony on Saturday night. Amandeep said she was checking her phone at the main door corridor when she heard a loud noise. She said she found Kajal lying in a pool of blood on the ground. She took her to a private hospital in Mohali, from where she was referred to the PGI, where she died on Sunday morning. Amandeep said Kajal was earlier working with her in an immigration company in Sector 70, Mohali. She said Kajal was under depression owing to some family matter. Amandeep’s colleague Harmandeep Singh used to stay with her, but was not in the house at the time of the incident. Police are investigating if she committed suicide or accidentally fell. tnn
