said on Monday enforcement teams have seized valuables worth Rs 305 crore in violation of code till January 30 after the model code of conduct came into force.

The CEO said that the surveillance teams have seized over 26 lakh litres of liquor worth over Rs 12 crore. Similarly, the enforcement wings have also recovered psychotropic substances amounting to Rs 273 crore besides confiscating unaccounted cash of over Rs 18 crore. He added that as many as 1,197 vulnerable hamlets have been identified, 2,860 persons have been identified as probable sources of trouble out of which preventive action had already been initiated against 1,835 persons while the remaining would also be brought to book. Also, 696 persons have been bound down under preventive sections of CrPC.

As many as 2,630 cases of non-bailable warrants have been executed, while execution in 58 cases is under process and 14,997 nakas are operational across the state. The CEO said that out of total over 3.90 lakh licensed weapons in the state over 3.76 lakh weapons have been deposited till date.

Raju also held a meeting with representatives of the recognized political parties to sensitize them about the allotment of time for electioneering on the public broadcasting system. As per the allotted time, these parties can campaign on
