Tiwari to be tourism director
The charge of director tourism, director higher education (DHE) and special secretary health will be given to D K Tiwari, who is also the managing director of Chandigarh Industrial and Tourism Development Corporation (CITCO).
Joint secretary finance charge would be given to PCS officer Gurpreet Kaur Sapra from September 1 and the charge of CITCO chief general manager and director cultural affairs will be given to Varsha Khangwal, who is also director, social welfare.
All charges being held by DHE and special secretary health Ajoy Sharma to be effective from September 1 when he proceeds on leave. All charges held by Amandeep Kaur, who has already been repatriated to Punjab cadre will be effective with immediate effect.
