Chandigarh: Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann, who was readmitted at a private hospital in Mohali on Monday evening, underwent a comprehensive clinical assessment and remains under the supervision of a multidisciplinary medical team.
A medical bulletin issued by the hospital on Tuesday said the chief minister came to the medical facility on Monday for a "routine medical evaluation".
"All vital parameters are stable and within normal limits. He is experiencing exhaustion and was admitted for observation and supportive care. His condition is stable, and he remains under the supervision of a multidisciplinary medical team," it added.
Earlier, Mann was admitted to the hospital on Sunday evening after experiencing uneasiness, reportedly caused by high blood pressure. He was, however, discharged on Monday to join AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal in Moga for the village defence committee (VDC) oath-taking ceremony as part of the anti-drug campaign, only to be readmitted to the hospital after the event around 8 pm.
With Mann in hospital, there was suspense over whether he would be able to attend the Moga event until the chief minister posted on his social media that he would be participating. However, he returned to the hospital a few hours after the event.
