Chandigarh: Police booked two people for making a registration certificate of a car in the name of a woman by allegedly forging signatures.
A resident of Sector 48 alleged
Nitin Sharma of
Manimajra
and
Vitesh Poply
, deployed at a military hospital in
Indore
, made fake registration of a car in her name in 2020. The woman alleged that the car was put on sale by its first owner
Sharma
in 2019, however, she did not buy the car in 2019. When she checked the status of the car, she saw it was registered in her name. She alleged that the car is in possession of Poply.
