CHANDIGARH: Punjab public works development minister
Harbhajan Singh said on Thursday that the state government would start various projects during the financial year 2022-23 under the
Nabard scheme to construct new roads and bridges at a cost of Rs 315 crore.
The cabinet minister held a review meeting with principal secretary of his department
Anurag Verma, secretary Malwinder Singh Jaggi, chief engineer
Arun Kumar and other senior officials.
After the meeting, the minister said that the construction work will be started soon by soliciting bids for the works.
The PWD minister said 2,217 km of link roads would be repaired in the current year, which were last repaired on or before March 31, 2016, and were not approved under any scheme thereafter. tnn
