Recruitments: Youth Cong accuses AAP of vendetta
Chandigarh: Punjab Youth Congress accused the AAP government of playing vendetta politics with 1,158 assistant professors and librarians recruited in government colleges by the previous Congress government. The then government had started the recruitment process in October 2021 but the Punjab and Haryana high court had ordered stay on it. However, by then 607 assistant professors had joined their respective colleges after resigning from previous jobs, while the remaining 450 selected candidates could not join.
Youth Congress alleged that the AAP government did not pursue the matter in the high court seriously as the recruitment drive was initiated in the Congress regime.
