The court also raised objection over the way in which the chargesheet was filed in the court on April 3 before the public prosecutor of district police.
Sources said that there are total 10 accused in the case and as per norms, police should have submitted ten different copies of challan for each accused respectively. The court has instructed local police to hand over copies of challans to three accused, including two brothers of the politician, who were arrested for harbouring the accused and are currently out on bail, by April 8. The next date for the case has been fixed for April 15.
Chaudhary was listed at sixth as accused in the chargesheet while one accused, Pankaj Bhandari, owner of Babloo Communication, is still at large. Bhandari had provided five SIM cards to Chaudhary and others on the basis of fake identity cards.
