Phone of boy's uncle found in Sector 33

CHANDIGARH: In a dramatic turn in Khuspreet Singh kidnapping case, police claimed to have recovered Sukhwinder Singh’s cell phone in an abandoned state from Sector 33 on Tuesday.
Sukhwinder earlier claimed his cell phone was taken away by kidnappers along with the bag containing Rs 4 lakh on December 22.
Father Lakhbir Singh said, “We are already in a trauma and now people are making it more difficult for us.” He appealed to police officials to inform him of all the developments that have happened during the investigation in last eight days.Members of Mad Arts on Tuesday took a satirical dig at UT police before police post Burail-45 of their failure in the case.
Chief executive officer Savita Bhatti said Chandigarh police is only for providing security to VIP persons but children are not secure in the city.
