Phagwara: Phagwara resident Surinder Mittal has submitted a complaint to police seeking registration of a case against Radhe Maa for bribing, torturing, seducing, threatening, hurting religious sentiments and for spreading obscenity and vulgarity. Mittal had earlier recorded his telephonic conversation with the controversial preacher and provided those to various TV channels.

In a complaint submitted to the Kapurthala SSP, Mittal also sought registration of a case against Radhe Maa's sister Rajjo Maasi, her daughter-in-law Megha, her close associate Ritu Sareen alias Chhotti Maa and her Mumbai-based follower Sanjeev Gupta.
Providing recordings of his conversations with Radhe Maa and her sister in April and printouts of WhatsApp messages from their mobile phones and that of Megha, Mittal alleged that he received offers of money to keep mum. When he rejected the offer, he was threatened, he claimed, alleging that Radhe Maa also told him that she loved him. He claimed that she was falsely claiming herself as an incarnation of the goddess and was hurting religious sentiments while spreading obscenity.
He has also sought action under provisions of the Information Technology Act apart from several sections of IPC. When contacted, Kapurthala SSP Rajinder Singh said he would order an inquiry into the complaint.
