<div class="section1"><div class="Normal">chandigarh: the appointment of dr onkar nath nagi as dean, postgraduate institute (pgi) of medical education and research, chandigarh was, on thursday, set aside by the punjab and haryana high court, which allowed the writ petition preferred against the selection by dr sudha suri, a claimant to the post. in an exhaustive 70-page judgment pronounced by the division bench comprising justices amarbir singh gill and swatanter kumar, the court observed that oral recommendation ex facie indicates lack of fair consideration of other eligible candidates.
