CHANDIGARH: Faridabad skaters won both the boys junior and senior inline hockey gold in the recently-concluded 33rd State Inline Hockey Championship held at Kaithal, Haryana.

In the junior boys final match, Faridabad defeated Kurukshetra by 2-0. Earlier in the league stage matches, Faridabad played a goalless draw against Sirsa, while defeated Kaithal by 4-1. In the senior boys category, Faridabad defeated Kurukshetra by 4-2. In the cadet boys and girls inline hockey, Panchkula won silver.

In the cadet boys final, Panchkula lost to Gurugram, while the Panchkula girls lost to Sirsa for the title. All the Panchkula skaters are the students of Manav Mangal School, Sector 11, Panchkula, and practice at the Rolling Tigers Academy The selected players from the state championship will represent Haryana in the national going to held next month in Vishakhpatnam, Andhra Pradesh.

Faridabad junior boys: Pranjal Tanwar (captain), Saransh Aggarwal, Jasnoor Singh, Rohan, Sahil Kapoor, Chirag, Himanshu
