KARNAL: Charged up campaign for the Haryana assembly elections ended on Monday evening in Karnal and Panipat districts after holding of road shows by aspirants to impress voters one last time before they go for door-to-door canvassing. Road shows were conducted by Congress, BJP, INLD and BSP in five assembly segments of Karnal and four seats of Panipat.

While all nine candidates were busy making last whirlwind tours of their constituencies, some stepped out to connect with the voters. Some candidates and their supporters even went for door-to-door campaigning.
It remained a busy day for BJP's Manohar Lal Khattar who is contesting from Karnal as MP Chetan Sharma came for his support on the last day. Congress party's Surinder Narwal embarked on a road show which passed through various markets of Karnal. HJC's Tejpal Garg also took out a road show in which several vehicles were seen following his SUV. In Indri, contestant Karan Dev Kamboj of BJP took out a padyatra (foot march) to touch the electorate.
