CHANDIGARH: Punjab assembly leader of opposition (LoP) Partap Singh Bajwa on Tuesday sought the removal of unauthorised people from the vidhan sabha complex, saying that they were tinkering with assembly proceedings on their laptops in the house.Speaking in the house, Bajwa said AAP's social media in-charge was among these people. "I want to bring to your notice that yesterday, when you adjourned the house for some time, I saw many unauthorised people with laptops tinkering with the house proceedings on my return. The in-house security provision that is with the speaker is being misused. The proceedings cannot go out without your approval. These people should be sent out. Because I feel the secrecy of the house was compromised," Bajwa said in the assembly while citing a rule in connection with privilege. Responding to Bajwa's allegations, speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan said since the formation of the government, proceedings had been broadcast live and the department of public relations (DPR) took care of it.Bajwa retorted by saying that he did not have any issues with the public relations department, but over the presence of a person who he said was the social media in-charge of the AAP government. "Aniket Saxena, who is the social media in-charge of the present government, was sitting there, and I have a photograph of this person (sitting there). The people who are not employees of vidhan sabha cannot be allowed to sit inside. We are playing with the secrecy of this august house. It can-not be allowed," he said.Sandhwan said whoever was authorised by the DPR, was authorised by him also. "DPR has empanelled so many people for this job," he said.
