Literary society distributes prizes

Chandigarh: The Chandigarh Literary Society (CLS) held the annual prize distribution ceremony for its annual poetry and short story writing competition. The competition was organized earlier this year, inviting online entries. People fom across the country participated in the competition, winners of which were selected by a panel of judges. Sumita Misra, chairperson, Chandighar Literary Society congratulated the award winners and gave away prizes.
The poetry and short story writing competitions are much-awaited events and the response this year was enthusiastic.The theme for the poetry competition was Change and entries were invited in Hindi, English and Punjabi. Ravindra Tandon secured the first position, Prisha Sharma stood second and Sunaina Jain stood third. tnn
