CHANDIGARH:
Haryana finance minister
,
Captain Abhimanyu
, on Wednesday criticised the former chief minister
Bhupinder Singh Hooda for indulging in politics of threat and vitiating the peaceful atmosphere in the state with
Jat reservation agitation which reflected his nervousness and political defeat.
The finance minister, who was addressing media at his residence in Chandigarh, also took strong exception to the remarks of congress MP from Rohtak, Deepender Singh Hooda against the CM, Manohar Lal Khattar in which he had questioned that where from the present CM had come. He said that the MP had also said that the CM would be returned from where he had come. He said that the language used by MP reflected the culture of Kauravs and the sacraments given by a father to his son.
Capt. Abhimanyu said that even earlier, Bhupinder Singh Hooda had played with the lives of the people from ‘Meham Kand’ to ‘Kandela Kand’ for his political gains and he was also responsible for the death of 30 youth in the Jat reservation agitation. He said that for three days, his house, temple, school and other property were set on fire in Rohtak, by those who had nothing to do with the Jat Reservation agitation, but they did so on the behest of some political leaders.
When asked about the compensation to be paid to him for the damage caused to his properties during Jat Reservation agitation, he said that his family has decided to donate it for noble cause. If he got any interest on this compensation that too would be donated, he added.
