HTET 2026 postponed, exam now on July 4-5
Rohtak: The Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET)-2026, which was scheduled to be conducted on June 13 and 14, has been postponed, Haryana Board of School Education (HBSE) chairperson Shankar Lal Dhopra announced in a press statement issued on Friday.According to the Board chairperson, the examination has been deferred due to administrative reasons. The exam will now be conducted on July 4 and 5.Dhopra clarified that the examination has only been postponed and not cancelled. He said the revised schedule was announced after reviewing the prevailing circumstances. One of the major reasons behind the postponement was the Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) examination, which was also scheduled on the same dates. Holding both examinations simultaneously could have caused inconvenience to a large number of candidates. Therefore, the board administration decided to reschedule the HTET.He appealed to all candidates and applicants not to pay attention to rumours regarding the examination schedule and related arrangements.Dhopra added that candidates seeking information regarding the conduct of the HTET-2026 should regularly visit the official website of the Haryana Board of School Education for updates and further notifications. The board is expected to issue detailed instructions and revised schedules on its official portal in due course. MSID:: 131391038 413 |
