Haryanvi singer among four held in Yamunanagar firing case
Yamunanagar: The district police have arrested four accused, including Haryanvi singer and lyricist Harsh Bubka, in connection with the firing incidents at the City Mall and Waryam Singh Hospital in Yamunanagar. Addressing a press conference on Tuesday, Yamunanagar Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Amrinder Singh said the arrests followed sustained questioning of the three shooters; Gurlal , Nitin, and Sagar, Karnal, who were earlier nabbed after a police encounter on Feb 8. The four arrested accused were identified as Harsh Bubka (alias Vivek), a resident of Bubka village in Yamunanagar district; Amrinder of Balla village in Karnal; Sabir of Ferozepur district in Punjab; and Aditya from Sismor village in Kaithal. Police said Harsh Bubka had sheltered the shooters after the incident and also arranged money and weapons for them. The ASP said all the accused were produced before a court, which granted 4-day police remand for further questioning. Accused Amrinder was wanted in a separate attempt-to-murder case in Karnal, while Sabir was wanted in connection with a firing incident reported in Moga on Feb 10. Police added that the accused were allegedly planning to execute another crime, but were arrested before they could act.
