AMBALA: The Ambala police in
Haryana on Sunday arrested two accused from the district court complex for attempting
impersonation
and submitting
forged documents
in the court to bail out an accused arrested in a case of counterfeit currency.
Those arrested have been identified as Mohammad Saleem of Railway Workshop, Jagadhri, Yamunanagar, and Ranvir Kaur, wife of accused Ajit Singh alias Sonu, who was arrested by Ambala police with fake currency.
Ambala City police station house officer (SHO) inspector Ram Kumar said, “Both accused Saleem and Ranvir were produced in the court, which sent Saleem to a three-day police remand and Ranvir to 14-day judicial custody.”
