Panchkula: BJP candidate from Panchkula Gian Chand Gupta on Saturday visited rural areas the constituency. He was accompanied by renowned Bhojpuri actor Dinesh Lal Nirahua.During his visit, Gupta claimed that along with development, peace in Panchkula has become possible only under BJP rule. “Ten years ago, during the rule of Congress, criminal activities and drug deals were going on in full swing in Panchkula district,” he claimed. “I am getting support from people of all 36 communities, including Bania, Punjabi, Brahmin, Kshatriya, SC, BC. People have decided to choose BJP for development,” he added. Gupta also claimed that the BJP has always stood with the youth. “The Congress has nothing to do with the future of the youth,” he said. On the other hand, actor Nirahua’s presence attracted thousands at a programme near Indira Colony. Nirahua addressed Purvanchali voters in Bhojpuri, and said that with the blessings of Chhath Maiya, BJP should win with a huge majority.
