Dhillon meets Nabin, discusses BJP strategy for 2027 polls
Chandigarh: Newly appointed Punjab BJP president Kewal Singh Dhillon called on party national president Nitin Nabin in New Delhi on Friday.During the meeting, detailed deliberations were held on the welfare of Punjabi farmers, creating employment opportunities for the youth and developing a strategy for 2027 Punjab assembly elections. Dhillon said he would take along every section of the party and work in close coordination with state leaders, office-bearers and workers across Punjab.He said intensive efforts would be made in the coming days to strengthen the party's organisation right down to the booth level across the state. Dhillon expressed confidence that the BJP would emerge as a strong political force in the state and form its govt in Punjab after the assembly elections scheduled for Feb 2027.
