CHANDIGARH: In yet another major embarrassment to Manohar Lal Khattar-led BJP government in Haryana and Narendera Modi-led NDA government at the centre, suspended Congress MLAs on Thursday took out a protest March and staged dharna outside assembly house here.

The suspended MLAs were protesting BJP's failure in protecting interests of Haryana on the issue of SYL. With the placards of anti-Khattar and anti-Modi slogans, the vMLAs raised anti-government slogans for one hours.

After staging dharna, the MLAs who were headed by ex-CM Bhupinder Hooda and CLP leader Kiran Chaudhary, left for New Delhi to meet President of India.

While taking on BJP in Haryana and the Centre, Hooda categorically asked Khattar to start a March towards SYL area to protect the canal.

"it looks like that BJP has silent accent to the Akalis move in Punjab. Hence Khattar government has not taken it seriously. Let us all rise above the party lines. all 90 MLAs and 15 MPs should go to Delhi and offer resignations to mount pressure on Punjab. The way Khattar government has reacted, this raises question on its intention," said Hooda.

CLP leader Kiran Chaudhary too flayed the Khattar government. " First they failed to maintain the law and order situation during time of unrest. Now this is the height as CM Khattar and his team is a mute spectator to a criminal and human wrong committed by Punjab towards Haryana over SYL issue," she said.
