Chandigarh: Parminder Kaur, former chairperson of Punjab Women Commission and former general secretary All India Mahila Congress, joined Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Wednesday. Kaur also served as vice-president of All India Mahila Congress and remained incharge of Maharashtra and Goa.

Others who joined the party included Hardeep Grewal, an international hockey player, who participated in Olympic Games in 1984 held at Los Angles, Asian Games in 1986 held at Seoul and World Cup in 1986 held at London. Jagdeep Gill, an international hockey player was awarded with Maharaja Ranjit Singh award by Punjab Government.
