Cinema manager arrested for screening banned film

KARNAL: Police on Wednesday arrested the manager of a local cinema for allegedly screening the banned Punjabi film - SaddaHaq.
According to reports, two multiplexes here, Harsha K3C and Movie Time, screened the movie, which has been banned by the state government after a similar ban was imposed by the government in Punjab and Chandigarh, four consecutive days.
Karnal police chief Shashank Anand said they had registered a case against four, including the owners and managers of both the multiplexes, for violating government orders. He said they had arrested Yugdip, manager of Harsha K3C. Others who have been booked are Vinod Kumar, Anil Kumar and Harish.
