CCPCR organises special session for children
Chandigarh: A stock taking session was conducted for the children of Snehalaya and Ashiana home by the Chandigarh Commission for Protection of Child Rights (CCPCR). The children shared their pleasant memories and achievements and also set the target for new year. They made beautiful greeting cards to welcome the new year.
On this occasion, Sandhana Sangar, Principal, Government College, Derabassi and artists of Tricity Simrit Luthra, Vinod Kapoor and Gurmeet Goldy were the visiting guests.
During the programme, Harjinder Kaur, chairperson, CCPCR motivated the children by telling the story of Chaar Sahibzade, the value culture children need to adopt by dedicating their lives honestly by working hard and being truthful to become an achiever to make the city and the nation proud. The children made beautiful greeting cards with their own imagination. They also cut a cake and sang corals to say goodbye to 2018.
