CBI grills Sekhon for 2nd day

Chandigarh: Former operation cell in-charge inspector Harinder Singh Sekhon appeared before the CBI for questioning in the Rs 7 lakh bribery case for the second consecutive day on Friday, a day when a CBI court extended the police remand of the two middlemen arrested in the case by one day.On the expiry of their three-day police remand, the CBI produced Manish Dubey alias Bablu Dubey and Anil Kumar alias Kuki in the court, demanding their custody for two more days while arguing they were not cooperating. On Tuesday, the CBI had arrested the two for allegedly seeking a bribe on behalf of two cops from a resident of Ram Darbar for not adding his name to an FIR being investigated by the operation cell.
