Cash, gold stolen from Sec 38 house

Chandigarh: Burglars allegedly stole Rs 2 lakh, gold items and a smart watch from a house in Sector 38. The house owner said the accused struck when she had gone out for some work. Police registered a case under Sections 380 (theft at dwelling house) and 454 (house trespass) of IPC.
Man held for stealing wires
One person was arrested for stealing copper wires from the rooftop of a private office in Manimajra.
A complaint was given to the police by Charanpreet Singh, manager, Ashok Leyland, NAC Manimajra.
The police registered a case under section 379 (punishment for theft) of the IPC at Manimajra police station and during investigation arrested a person identified as Veeru, a resident of Labour Colony, Mansa Devi Complex, Panchkula.
